Students take on 12 good deeds in 12 weeks

Good deed changes worldDyer Elementary School in South Portland is the first one in Maine to participate in the Twelve Good Deeds program, a project designed to encourage students to complete 12 good deeds during a 12-week period.

The goal of the program is to teach kids the joy of giving while also empowering them to make a difference, both in their local community and throughout the world, according to the Twelve in Twelve Foundation, which created the good deeds project.
