We all want to raise kids who are kind and loving. Setting children up to do “good deeds” when they are little puts thoughtfulness on their radar and gives them great experience helping others. Using the language of “doing good deeds” helps children identify actions that are especially kind or helpful. Kids begin to love giving. They enjoy the excitement and intrinsic reward behind making a contribution.
