Boy turns down cash reward in favour of good deeds

12-year-old Josh Brown from Worcestershire turned down £20 reward for returning a phone to the owner. Instead, Josh wrote a note telling the phone owner “to do something nice for someone else”.

Inspired by Josh, the 16-year-old phone owner, Shaunnah Hickinbottom, said she had since cleaned her nan’s house and donated to a cat sanctuary.
