A blooming good idea: keep your eyes peeled for ‘lonely bouquets’ of flowers in South Devon

lonely-flowersFLOWER clubs across South Devon are preparing to raise smiles with surprise bouquets left in public places to be picked up by an unsuspecting passerby tomorrow.

The posies are being donated by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) as part of the national flower arranging day on May 1.

The charity is using the event to distribute 60,000 bouquets across the UK, to embrace the ‘Lonely Bouquet’ concept for the second year in a row.

The ‘Lonely Bouquet’ is a random act of kindness which involves leaving a bouquet in a public place to be picked up by an unsuspecting passerby.
