Lexington hip-hop artist exchanging music for good deeds

September 14, 2015

Hip-HopLEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington hip-hop artist Devine Carama says the balance of music has swung too far to the negative and he wants to pull it back. He says he tried to promote positivity in his music, but there’s a twist to his new album release that he hopes will trigger a domino effect of goodwill.

A Vintage Love Supreme will be Carama’s tenth album. He describes it as “throwback vintage”. He will release it online at midnight Sunday. He says the lyrics are meant to be uplifting. That’s something he says he doesn’t seen enough of in the hip hop world.
