Chobani CEO to Give All of His 2,000 Full Time Employees 10% of His Company Stakes
To thank his employees in helping Chobani to become a multi-billion dollar company, the CEO and the founder of Chobani, Hamdi Ulukaya, will give each full time employee a stake of the private own company. The longest-running employees stand to receive stakes worth over $1 million, while the average employee payout is $150,000.
Last year, Ulukaya also founded an organization called Tent Foundation to aid refugees all over the World. According to CBS News, Ulukaya has pledged half of his wealth over his lifetime to the cause. Over the past few years he has also hired hundreds of refugees to work at Chobani.
