Man may have emerged in the evolutionary chain sooner than previously thought. A Stone Age child is giving scientists pause for thought. Research based on the DNA analysis of the boy found that genetically modern humans emerged much earlier. And probably in more than one African region. The research was co-led by the University of Johannesburg and Uppsala University in Sweden
